A big storm funnels down the canyon and drives rain into walls, window heads, and flashing terminations that ordinary vertical rain never touches, so the building has a threshold rather than a leak: below it everything sheds, above it a path opens. The fix is rarely one thing — wall sealing, flashing, and site drainage work together, which is why we test the whole path before writing the scope.

On a long canyon road with a single way in, the constraints are real: where a material truck can turn, where a dumpster can sit without closing a lane, which hours keep the road passable for the neighbors, and how debris leaves without being staged on somebody else's frontage. We walk that before we quote, because it decides the schedule and it belongs in the written scope rather than arriving as a problem on day one.
